The Fastest Cure for Excessive Foot Sweating

The Fastest Cure for Excessive Foot Sweating
What’s your most embarrassing moment? For me it was hanging out at a dinner party with friends. The couple who had invited everyone over just got new carpeting and were insistent that everyone remove their shoes upon entering the house. Well, at least I wore nice socks! About a quarter of the way through the meal, my foot odor was undeniably consuming the air around the table. People were polite at first, but then snickers turned into all out finger pointing. My husband was perhaps as embarrassed as I was. It was pretty humiliating.

That was the night I decided to find the solution to my excessive foot sweating. I just couldn’t deal with the problem any longer. I’ve been well aware of my excessive foot sweating for some time now. I even saw doctors about it. Turned out I had been diagnosed with primary hyperhidrosis. That means I have hyperactive sweat glands that perspire uncontrollably no matter what the weather or temperature is like. Well, that explained my sopping wet shoes but that didn’t answer my main concern. How can I make it stop?

My doctor told me about surgical options. A procedure called a sympathectomy would cut the nerves that led to the sweat glands in question. The problem with this solution? A lot of patients who go this route end up with what’s called compensatory sweating. I could walk out of the hospital and in just a few weeks have a problem with sweaty palms. Not for me. Plus, surgery sounds so drastic.

My second option was going with botox injections. This wasn’t a great option either. They’re very expensive, costing up to $300 or more per injection and you have to go back every 6 months to keep up with it. My problem was bad, but I didn’t want to shell out that kind of money for a temporary fix. I wanted a solution that would nip this problem in the bud once and for all.

A few weeks after consulting with the doctor about the botox alternative, I stumbled upon a site with tons of natural remedies that cured the sweating within two weeks. The natural remedies include home solutions like tea leaf soaking and apple vinegar tablespoon supplements. I was skeptical at first but after 9 days I began seeing results. And after two weeks, my excessive foot sweating had ceased altogether. Now these natural remedies are part of a once a month regimen. You can view them all at www.prevent-sweating.com I highly recommend the resources on this site if you want to cure your excessive sweating for good.

If you find yourself traveling frequently for business or pleasure, you are probably familiar with how difficult it can be to maintain a fitness program. Not all hotels have fitness facilities, the day-to-day routine of out of town trips is rarely similar to your home routine, and you may often question whether you even have time for an effective workout while traveling. Once your exercise routine has been interrupted, it can be tough to get back on track when you return home.

An assortment of fitness products are available that are effective when used at home and can be collapsed to travel in a suitcase, briefcase, or duffel bag. Want to Get Rid of Belly Fat and Get Rid of Love Handles?

Filed under: Weight Loss — Health Information @ 3:09 pm

Want to Get Rid of Belly Fat and Get Rid of Love Handles?
There are very few people I’ve known in this life who haven’t wondered how to get rid of love handles or how to get rid of belly fat. Those of us who have love handles, also known by other colorful names like spare tire, and belly fat, not so affectionately referred to as a pot-belly, find very little to love about those handles and that belly says we’ve been letting ourselves go to pot.

Love handles and belly fat are basically nice ways to describe the fat that accumulates on the lower abdomen and on each side of the waist. But any way you view it, those love handles are warning signs of undesired weight gain. Yes, let’s call it what it is, that belly fat is just unwanted weight. And the only way to get rid of love handles and to get rid of belly fat is to lose weight.

That means you’ve got to find a reliable eating plan that will both nourish your body while reducing that pot-belly and those love handles. Finding reliable weight lose information can be an absolutely discouraging endeavor since there are quite literally hundreds of weight loss plans on the market today that make all types of preposterous claims

First, find a healthy plan you intend to keep. To reduce your overall body fat and keep it off, you need to find a healthy eating plan. It’s tempting, when you’re trying to lose weight, to skip meals to reduce your caloric intake, but a better–and easier–way to cut calories is to find a reliable diet that fits your tastes and lifestyle; one you can adopt for life. So to prevent or reduce excess weight around the abdomen, or wherever you’re genetically predisposed to deposit it, you need a healthy diet.

Compare the different diets based on the type foods you enjoy, and the ones you already know pack on the pounds now. Don’t be tempted by plans offering huge weight loss over a short period of time. A plan offering fast results is not a healthy one, and you want a plan you can stick with for the rest of your life; a healthy diet that will keep the weight off.

Once you start losing body fat, you can firm up your body by exercising. The main thing to remember though is that spare tires and pot-bellies indicate too much body fat. And losing body fat is the best (read only) way to get rid of love handles and to get rid of belly fat.

If you want to lose weight then find the right diet for you, and then get up off the couch and go for a walk, take a ride on your bike, or go to the gym. When you maintain a healthy diet and institute a regular cardiovascular workout routine, your love handles and belly fat will gradually reduce without any particular special exercise to get rid of them. So, there you have it: the skinny on how to get rid of love handles and belly fat.

B.J. Gordey is the owner of Top10-diets.com. Are you looking for a way to “get rid of love handles” and “get rid of belly fat“? You can learn a lot more about how a successful diet can help you at Top10-Diets.com.

Decline Twist Ab Workouts

Filed under: Fitness — Health Information @ 6:12 am

Decline Twist ab workouts are great advanced exercises which are used to focus the intensity of the contractions on the muscles which form the sides of the midsection area which are more commonly known as the external obliques. To get the most out of these ab workouts, it is better to use an alternating motion or a rotating type of movement on a steep decline board. As with all ab workouts, the key to performing the decline twist is through correct execution.

You will need the use of a decline bench to do the decline twist. Set the position of the bench at a rather steep angle (start with a 15 degree angle for beginners, 35 degree angle for an advanced intensity) for your ab workouts. Position your body on the decline, with your legs hanging and your feet locked from the higher end of the bench.

Make sure that your upper body must be perpendicular to the decline bench before you do your ab workouts, so that you will exert an effort to contract your abdominal area just to maintain your position. Cap off this position by placing both of your hands on both sides of your head, on an area just behind the ears. Remember not to lock your fingers as you do the ab workouts.

Begin your ab workouts by slowly, but deliberately curling your way up and contracting your right oblique muscles; this will cause the torso to rotate to the left side of your body. In this position, while your hands are touching your head, your right elbow should be on perfect target for your left knee. When you do your ab workouts, contract your oblique muscles with a little more squeeze in it as your elbow reaches your knee (move as close as you can towards it). Finish your ab workouts by untwisting your torso and returning to your starting position.

When Eugene weighed 311lbs, he never though he would cut weight, gain muscles and sculpt abs.He now teaches freelance dieting lessons and muscle-building exercises. Visit Ab Workouts to find out more today!

Losing Belly Fat Without Starving Yourself

Filed under: Weight Loss — Health Information @ 6:09 am

Most of the diet programs focused on losing belly fat are very low in calories. Many of these programs border on starvation. You commonly see diets that restrict your calorie intake to

  • 1200 calories
  • 1000 calories
  • even 800 calories or less!

Oddly enough the more you deplete your calorie count the more your metabolism slows down, It sounds crazy but it’s true and this is why so many fail at losing belly fat. The fact is that very low calorie diets can actually make you FATTER! Losing belly fat is physiologically impossible to achieve by starving yourself.

It goes like this, when you eat less, your body burns less. When you eat more, your body burns more. It’s a paradox I know, but it’s true, and it gets worse. Very low calorie diets not only slow down your metabolism, they also actually cause muscle loss. Eventually low calorie diets can shut your metabolism down completely, when this happens the weight loss stops and any increase you make in your caloric intake causes fat gain. This effect is inevitable because who can stay on 800 calories forever?

A renowned weight-loss doctor said that “Dieting is not effective in controlling weight. You can get a temporary weight loss with a diet, but each scheme ultimately gives way to weight gain, and subsequent losses become increasingly difficult.”

You have to look deeply into any calorie recommendations that are made by a diet before you start it. You’ll find that a large majority of them want you to cut your calories down to starvation levels. If you see any results at all they will be short lived and won’t do the real job you are looking for.

Our bodies are very “smart” - they always look for a state of balance between metabolism, blood sugar, hormone levels and body temperature. All of these things are regulated in a small range that your body feels comfortable in.

When you put youru body through major changes in diet, exercise, sleeping, or other dramatic changes your body starts adjusting itself immediately to keep it’s balance. The moment you are in danger of starving your body it will adjust the way your body works to burn fewer calories in an attempt to save itself from starving, this is commonly called a “natural starvation response.”

The only proven, effective way to go about losing belly fat and keeping it off permanently is to reduce your calories (slightly, not drastically) and then increase your activity (drastically, not slightly). It is ALWAYS better a smarter, healthier choice to burn fat than try to starve fat away.

Sores At Corners Of Mouth, Ouch! Angular Chelitis

Filed under: Skin Care — Health Information @ 6:08 am

Ok…so you have these re-occurring cracks or splits at the corners of the mouth. Don’t panic, this is not life threatening, nor is it contagious. So kiss anybody you like without fear of spreading the condition. Of course, finding somebody willing to kiss you back may be a challenge. Giving and receiving affection can be something we miss out on during an Angular Chelitis attack.

Angular Chelitis is a fungal infection, often caused by an iron deficiency so eat a little more red lean meat. Sufferers also report an attack during winter or at the beginning of winter. This means that the bacteria lay dormant even if symptoms are not present. When you fail to keep warm, your immune system may weaken a little, allowing the bacteria to suddenly flourish on the corners of the lips.

These splits look a little like paper cuts at the corners of the mouth, but they get inflamed and red, with a sort of crustiness. The sores have a whitish hue.

Many older individuals get this condition, or really, anybody with mis-aligned teeth or ill fitting false teeth. The teeth allow the mouth to close a little too far creating a pocket of skin at the corners of the mouth which typically is always moist. This environment is perfect for the bacteria to incubate and live in. The legions result during an attack.

Most individuals who go through the symptoms of an Angular Chelitis attack would do virtually anything to rid themselves of this insidious and persistent infection.

If you would like to look at pictures that can help you verify your own condition, you can download this simple and effective cure from the Angular Chelitis Foundation Their official treatment instructions are very effective. After following treatment instructions, you can expect the symptoms relieved and the legions in the corners of your mouth completely dried out within a few hours.http://www.angularchelitisfoundation.com

Is Elliptical Exercise Superior?

Filed under: Fitness — Health Information @ 3:34 pm

If you are thinking about working out at home in your own home gym, you may assume that involves buying a treadmill. However, the elliptical trainer is currently competing for a place in the homes of many today, and with good reason.

Basically, if you are trying to find out which piece of workout equipment is better, elliptical or treadmill, you really need to know what it is you want to achieve from your workout. Treadmills are still an excellent way to exercise at home, but ellipticals have some features that expand your range of workout, or help you exercise if you have old injuries or age factors to consider.

Low Impact

Probably the biggest reason people have for choosing an elliptical machine over a treadmill is that it is known for its “low impact” quality. This means that there is less impact on joints, ligaments and muscles when compared to jogging or treadmill exercise, which makes for a safer workout. With a large generation in their forties and fifties who are interested in staying healthy, the need for the low impact style of the elliptical is very popular. Now people who have joint problems or have sustained injuries and never thought they could work out again are getting a second chance to stay in shape.

Whole Body Workout

Even though the elliptical workout is low impact, it doesn’t detract from the quality of the results. In fact, some would argue that the results are better than those achieved on the treadmill or with other equipment. The reason for the superior results is because with a lot of elliptical trainers you get a whole body workout. The treadmill is good for certain aspects of your body in the same way that running is, for example your cardiovascular health and burning fat. With elliptical machines, you are combining the movements of biking, skiing and hiking. Therefore, when you exercise on an elliptical with upper body movement capability, you are able to work a greater muscle group into your workout. This means that not only are you increasing your heart rate, but you are also exercising the legs, back, shoulders, arms and chest. They will give you the long duration aerobic workout necessary to burn fat, burning 13 calories a minute. These machines are equipped with different preset exercise programs to make your workout easier, switching around to make your exercise time varied and less boring. Some of them even have a plug in for your iPod to make your workout more enjoyable.

Whether you are a baby boomer, weekend warrior with old injuries or are just looking for a total workout in a short space of time, the elliptical is definitely worth considering.

How to Calorie Shift

Filed under: Weight Loss — Health Information @ 3:31 pm

Calorie shifting is a popular weight loss method that has inspired many people to try it. But performing a calorie shifting diet is easier said than done. The amazing thing about this method is that is does not require you to stop eating the foods you love(excluding fast foods). It does not require you to exercise either. And this method works faster than any diet pill out there and is much safer than most weight loss and fat burning products on the market today. So how do you perform a calorie shifting diet?

This is done by eating more than 4+ full meals a day. Each meal must be different from the one before it or after it. You must continually mix up what you eat so that the calorie shifting diet works out, because if you mix up how many calories you consume the body will not get used to your routine and will always be forced to burn different amounts of calories. When that happens in order to stabilize itself, it will burn more calories. This is what causes the weight loss, and results happen quickly.

Don’t be cynical eating more food does not mean more gaining more weight. Its the food you eat and not how much you eat that results in weight loss or gain. Obviously eating fast foods is not going to help you lose weight, so stay away from them if you intend on losing weight through this diet. Thats the simplest way of doing a calorie shifting diet.

When doing calorie shifting expect the results to be limitless. People have been known to lose several pounds in under 5 days while doing a calorie shifting diet. Often times even this diet is known to help people lose too much weight. The recommended length of this diet is around 2 weeks in which you can lose up to 10 or more pounds. Angular Cheilitis And Cheilosis Treatment Challenges And Symptoms

Filed under: Skin Care — Health Information @ 3:31 pm

Every year, millions of people suffer from angular cheilitis, also known as cheilosis or angular stomatitis or perleche, but often misspelled as angular chelitis.

According to wikipedia, studies have indicated angular cheilitis to be a result of nutritional deficiencies (such as Vitamin B1, Vitamin B12 and iron) and occurs frequently with elderly people who experience a loss of vertical dimension due to loss of teeth, thus allowing for over-closure of the mouth.

There is a lesser form of cheilosis that occurs mainly when the temperature is low (e.g. winter time) with young children and teenagers being the main sufferers.

Typical symptoms experienced by angular cheilitis sufferers include the following:

- Sores at both corners of the lips and mouth

- Painful splits of the skin at the corner and inside of the mouth

- Bleeding sometimes occurs when opening the mouth

There is no connection between angular cheilitis and herpes / cold sores.

While the legions are difficult to hide and sufferers will do anything to get rid of the embarrassment, cheilosis is not a life threatening condition.

Having said this, a contagious oral fungal infection called Candida (also known as oral thrush) can develop inside the mouth of an angular cheilitis sufferer, characterised with a whitish coating on the tongue if the condition is not contained.

Many cheilosis sufferers experience attacks a few times a year, each lasting months. The even more unfortunate ones suffer with the condition seemingly on a permanent basis.

When consulted, doctors will typically prescribe a 1% hydro cortisone topical cream. This treatment unfortunately has proven to be ineffective and does little to ease the symptoms resulting in many angular cheilitis patients having to tolerate the painful condition.

The good news is that there are treatment alternatives of which the majority of cheilosis sufferers are not aware of. Such treatment alternatives can be found simply by searching online using the different names that angular cheilitis is known as.

For instance, there is a safe, simple and painless method that controls and kills the Candida bacteria merely by isolating this fungal bacteria and creating an environment they cannot survive in. This method is surprisingly inexpensive for an angular cheilitis sufferer and makes use of common household items.

VernKye Lim writes on angular cheilitis and other health issues. If you would like to find out more about the symptoms and treatment of cheilosis, please visit VernKye’s blog on Angular Cheilitis.

Weight Lifting Equipment Is Essential to Everyone

Filed under: Fitness — Health Information @ 2:53 am

Weight lifting began for me over 14 years ago as a means to gain muscular weight for hockey. Weight lifting requires the use of weight bearing equipment such as barbells and dumbbells (free weights), and machines that use cables and pulleys to help lift the weight. Weight lifting exercises consists of repetitions and sets. Weight lifting should not be confused with “weight training,” which is the general lifting that you do at the gym.

Weights

Weight lifting requires the use of weight bearing equipment such as barbells and dumbbells (free weights), and machines that use cables and pulleys to help lift the weight. Free weights and compound movements such as squats, bench press, shoulder press, and bent over barbell rows apply a lot of stress on the supporting muscles. By using free weights and compound movements in your weight lifting routine, you will challenge your body to work harder and therefore make better muscle gains. As your form and style improves, you’ll want to move to a lower repetition range using heavier weights. Lifting heavier weights increases the chances of injury. Almost anybody can improve his/her chest by lifting weights with only the smallest bit of know-how. Slowly raise the weights, again making sure not to move the upper arms during the weight lifting exercise. Power lifting (a weight-lifting competition in which participants compete in the squat, dead lift, and bench press), Olympic weight lifting (the type you see on TV where athletes lift the weight overhead), strength training (lifting weights to get stronger), and weight lifting (the sport of lifting heavy weight, typically fewer than six repetitions). Continuing to lift weights after release could lead to use of illegal steroids and association with those who sell them and other illegal drugs.

Gloves

Another important weight lifting technique is wearing gloves or using grips to make sure the weights are secure in your hands. A good pair of weight lifting gloves will protect your hands and keep you comfortable as you workout. You have done your research, you have bought your weight lifting gloves, you’ve psyched yourself up the whole ride to the gym telling yourself “I can do this. You will also likely to prefer some gloves to both protect your hands and prevent them from slipping.

Weight lifting equipment is essential to anyone who is genuinely dedicated to staying in shape. Weight lifting hooks allow you to lift heavy weight without having to worry about maintaining your grip. Weight lifting straps make weight training easier, safer, and more comfortable. Weight lifting can be as important to your overall health as aerobic exercise — and it’s not just for men. Weight lifting accessories can improve your weightlifting experience, making it both for effective and safer, as well as more fun. Weight lifting is one of the most popular sports in the country and there is a strong reason supporting that fact.
